After children complete Year 7, they must leave the Good Hope School. This is a vulnerable and frightening time in the lives of our orphaned and needy children who have grown up living at the school and have no family support network to turn to.

We have two affiliated boys and girls high schools, located nearby in Kabale town, that offer graduating Good Hope School orphaned and needy students a place in their boarding school programs at discounted rates. This continuity of full-time care and education is made available through an extension of the Good Hope School Sponsorship Program and funded entirely through the generosity of donors like you.

Boarding and High School fees are $600 USD per year, somewhat higher than the grass-roots Good Hope School fees but still less than $2 per day

How to Sponsor a Child for High School:

If you feel called to offer one of these bright children a lifeline to continue their education, then please:

1) Select the ‘High School Student’ option in the Donorbox payment portal above.

2) Select the name of the high school student you wish to support from the drop-down options (or enter their name in the comment box).

Want to help but can’t commit to a full sponsorship? No worries, you can also make a one-time or recurring donation of any amount to support these children. Just enter whatever amount you like and write their name in the comment box.

Every dollar goes directly to the children you nominate for their benefit—there are no paid administrators or third-party overheads.

Children Leaving Good Hope School Needing Sponsors for High School

My name is Blessed. I am 13 years old, born in Kara Village, Rubanda District, Uganda. I am a single orphan, living with my father and my three sisters only. Our mother died of malaria. All my sisters are married, except for me. I stay and study at Good Hope School for my wellbeing. This school has given me the opportunity to receive education and parental care.

However, in 2026 it is my dream to go to high school to continue my education. With God as my helper and guide, I look forward to becoming a nurse in the future. This career will enable me to give back to my community by offering nursing care to the sick, the elderly, and other vulnerable people. I also enjoy playing netball, which has helped me become more social at school. Thank you very much for considering sponsoring my studies and boarding, and may God bless you.

Blessed

Patrick K

My name is Patrick Kamukama, I am 17 years old and in my final year at Duces Boys High School. Both of my parents died of AIDS when I was very young. I am from Kamuserwa village but I grew up living at the Good Hope School because there was no one else to care for me. I have one brother. I have been blessed to have sponsors for my high school education until 2025, but my sponsor is unable to continue supporting me for the 2026 school year. My favourite subjects are maths and science, and I am one of the top students at my school. I want to become a Doctor to help my community. Your support would help me get closer to achieving this goal. May God bless you for your generosity!
